Silent Auction

Hi everybody. First of all, thank you so much to those who have donated financially to the Team Matt fund. Along with that, we are planning on doing an online silent auction within the next month to raise more money to help Matt and Sunshine. We are currently collecting donations to be auctioned off and are in need of more items if there is anything you would like to donate. To give you some ideas, here is a list of some things that have been offered: A custom painting of the LDS temple of the buyer's choice A customized afghan Other sewn/knitted items A package containing a variety of homemade Mexican sauces/marinades A package of homemade caramels and other candies Baby items A stamping package 2 lbs of Swiss chocolates You could also offer services such as babysitting, photo sessions (as someone has already generously been doing) or whatever else you can think of that coincides with your talents/abilities. Welcome to Team Matt!!

This blog is set up to support the Johnson family. Matt has been diagnosed with cancer. The road ahead for Matt and Sunshine will not be an easy one. While Matt is taking on the fight for his life, Sunshine prepares for the birth of their third child, as well as taking care of their other two children, Eliana and Kayden (ages 2 &1). This blog is a way to offer support and provide a way to help the Johnson family during the long road that lies ahead of them. For those of you who are interested, there are going to be several opportunities to make donations to the family to pay for medical bills and expenses, as Matt is the sole provider for the family and will not be able to work for an extended period of time. Please click on the Paypal “Donate” button provided below. (Using a bank account and routing # is free, whereas a debit or credit card # will take a small fee from your donation). Other opportunities to help support the family will be provided. Matt is in need of as much love, support, and words of encouragement as he can get.
